Tiny Black And Gold Bug - Deraeocoris

Tiny Black And Gold Bug - Deraeocoris
Campbell, Hunt County, Texas, USA
May 27, 2013
Size: 1/4 inch
We found this floating in the pool. There are cedar trees around and my lot is wooded if that helps. I wish I had a better camera because this bug was really gold and pretty. Gold and black marble.

Miridae (Plant bugs)
Probably Lygus

Miridae, but probably diff. subfamily; thinking, Deraeocoris
