Size: 10.2 mm
Definite wine red coloration to this hopper species that has appeared two weeks in a row at my mercury vapor lamp. ID help appreciated.

Texananus majestus
This is one of the elongate species of Texananus assigned to subgenus (or sometimes a separate genus) Iowanus. Of these, T. majestus is the only one with the tip of the head paler than the rest of the insect.
