Agyrtidae: Necrophilus pettitii Horn
I'm pretty sure this this a larva of the agyrtid, Necrophilus pettitii Horn. If I zoom up on one of the images, I think I am able to make out the 2-segmented urogomphi that help characterize the group. Way cool! [How many did we preserve in a permanent collection somewhere?!]
