Phengodid
This is a glow worm, a female phengodid beetle. They eat millipedes.

never really heard of one
I couldn't figure out which category to look under and looked at the regular beetles. I'm so disappointed we didn't get to see it glow. (last night I had been commenting on glow worms on another site but didn't put two and two together). We looked for it tonight and found some wooly bear catapillars instead. I imagine if glow worm larvae are predators then they have a pretty large range. Thanks!!

I just got
a picture of one of those maybe 30 or so minutes ago!
