Sharpshooters mating again (Oncometopia?) - Homalodisca vitripennis

Sharpshooters mating again (Oncometopia?) - Homalodisca vitripennis
Plantation, Fort Lauderdale County, Florida, USA
September 17, 2006
I took a similar shot recently and posted it here on the guide, I am wonding if these are the same genus and species as my previous and exactly what genus and species they are. I watched them mate for a while, they are great at avoiding my camera lens in unison! Also, I am sorry about the quality of this image, the other is much better, but I was happy that he put that spiked stinger looking thing out in the air and starting spraying some kind of liquid, it was very interesting to say the least.

Moved
Moved from Homalodisca.

Homalodisca vitripennis, Glassy-winged sharpshooters.
Definitely looks like a pair of Homalodisca vitripennis, Glassy-winged sharpshooter. Speckled head pattern; yellow and brown eyes; location also matches.

Homalodisca sp.
This is a pair in the genus Homalodisca, maybe even the infamous glassy-winged sharpshooter.
