Wolf Spider - Castianeira occidens

Wolf Spider - Castianeira occidens
Rowland Heights, LA County, California, USA
May 26, 2013
What wolf spider is this? Usually, the wolf spiders I see are plain, but this one was very colorful and beautiful.

Castianeira
Nice one! That range might have C. luctifera, C. thalia, C. occidens, C. athena & maybe C. alfa. Steve Lew only lists C. occidens & C. thalia from LA County and I agree with the Balabans that C. occidens looks like the best match.

Not a Wolf Spider
Castianeira, maybe occidens
