I've checked out the forester, the haploa and the sable and I'm not convinced that it is any of these. My flash did not go deep enough under the hydrangea where these two were so neither shot is good, but hopefully good enough for ID. It was dusk with a storm coming. Next time, could I ethically capture them?

also: hydrangea leaves were rolled and the larvae inside looked like this larvae. Needs more investigation! Very cool.
