Yellow-Banded Underwing (Catocala cerogama) - Catocala piatrix
Town of Plymouth, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, USA
August 22, 1996
Adult came to night light. Originally I had this photo identified as C. piatrix. That is, until Rick Gilmore called the error to my attention. I sent the photo to a Noctuid expert in Madison, WI and he confirmed Rick's ID. Thanks Rick!
