Chinese Mantid? - Tenodera aridifolia

Chinese Mantid? - Tenodera aridifolia
Doddridge County, West Virginia, USA
September 19, 2006
Size: about 12 cm
Tenodera aridifolia sinensis? First praying mantis I've ever seen. :) If it had not moved, I would have missed it in all the weeds...very hard to photograph amongst all the clutter. If ID is correct, it will put WV on the map.

Moved
Moved from Tenodera.

Not positive
I'm not sure how to rule out Tenodera angustipennis. I'm moving to genus level for now. Perhaps an expert will see it there.
