These are great shots! I have been so interested in the pseudomyrmex ever since I found out about them, but for me its wierd that they were sharing the aphids with the carpenter ants, I usually see them on the side of my house eating carpenter ants!! LOL (well I don't actually see them eating, I just see them carrying them away to thier little holes on the side of my house)

I am in plantation, and these look like the same species that I have taken photos of.

Charles. They may very well be the same species.
I wanted to get the carpenter ant in the image, but it fled as soon as I got close with the camera. There were about 5 or 6 Psuedo's and most of them took off because of the camera as well.
In case you haven't seen Richard's comments yet, check all the images for this genus, including other species. He posted a lot of interesting facts about them, just don't remember which images.
