Beetle - chrysomelid? - Disonycha fumata
Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, USA

I thought this would be an easy ID, but looking at the striped beetles we have so far, I can't find it. I'm pretty sure it's a chrysomelid, given its resemblance to Asphaera. Any further ideas?
