Katydid nymph-greater arid land katydid? - Neobarrettia spinosa - Male

Size: Body appr. 1.5" long
I found this katydid on a prickly pear cactus and to me it looks like a greater arid land katydid, but I would greatly appreciate a confirmation/correction before I move it to the guide.
