This Ten-Lined June Beetle made an appearance on my uncle's back porch, causing a few screams among kids and women. He flew into a wood plank and knocked himself silly, making it easy for me to photograph him without harming him or killing him. We let him go back into the yard after making sure he could fly. I set him on a black leather folder, which helped his colors show up better.
