Bee on Iris petal - Sphecodes
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA

Size: BL ~ 8 mm
The handsome bee with red abdomen is maybe a Sphecodes sp? It was found on Rocky Mountain Iris (Iris missouriensis). I will post a dorsal view. Any help is much appreciated.
