Unknown Butterfly - Limenitis weidemeyerii

Unknown Butterfly - Limenitis weidemeyerii
Penasco, Taos County, New Mexico, USA
July 13, 2006
We found this butterfly while camping in Penasco, NM. I checked the books and online for known butterflies in NM and Taos County, but came up empty. There were a few b&w butterflies, but all them showed pictures with open wings and I do not want to guess. Any ideas?

Limenitis?
looks rather like this L. weidermeyeri:

Weidemeyer's Admiral
Yeah, I had thought about the Weidemeyer's Admiral, but since the shot is not at the right side, I was not sure about it, especially since I cannot see a lot of orange. You can see a tiny speck of orange on my picture, but I was not confident enough to make that declaration.

However, if there are no other species that resemble this, then that increases confidence. I wish the thing had not been so jittery and flown away so rapidly after just one shot. He flew to the other side of the river, so I could no pursue him.
