Nice
Kathy,

Marine Blue (Leptotes marina)see my photos on it athttp://www.rlephoto.com/butterflies/blue_marine/index.htm

Thanks again Randy
Marine Blue it is. I will add one other view for further ID. Could I also ask you what book you would recommend as the best source for butterfly ID? Have been enjoying them so much this summer and think it would be a nice Christmas present for myself. Am also interested in a good source for damselflies. Thanks so much for your help.

books
Kathy,
Not sure if "Butterflies though binoculars the East" or "Butterflies though binoculars the west" would be better see them at http://www.rlephoto.com/store/books.htm BTW the Butterflies of Oklahoma, Kansas, and North Texas book I have a couple of photos in it.

Thanks Randy
Looks like Santa will be very good to me this year. The butterflies...West sounds best to me. We are smack dab in the middle here in Kansas. I am also in the center of Kansas. I am going to order the OK-KS-TX book too. How cool to have your own images published, congrats on that. Until they arrive I will be posting other butterflies for ID. Am very puzzled by the sulphurs and want a clarification on the Red Admiral and Painted Lady. Thanks again.
