Chlaenius pensylvanicus Say - Chlaenius pensylvanicus

Chlaenius pensylvanicus Say - Chlaenius pensylvanicus
Lac-St-Charles, Quebec County, Quebec, Canada
June 3, 2005
Size: 11 mm

Moved to C. pennsylvanicus
Moved from Chlaenius. to C. pennsylvanicus. In the species guide page, I mentioned that C. pennsylvanicus pennsylvanicus is (apparently) the widespread subspecies.

I'm not a big fan of doing guide pages for subspecies unless there is a large difference in coloration, or something obvious like that. None of my references talk about other subspecies, so I think getting this to the species level is fine.

Thanks Patrick.
Since I couldn't confirm the subspecies (I only assumed it was C. pensylvanicus pensylvanicus), I changed my identification back to the species level.
