Beetle? - Diabrotica undecimpunctata

Beetle? - Diabrotica undecimpunctata
Doddridge County, West Virginia, USA
September 5, 2006
Size: about 5 mm
I give up! Can't find any Ladybird Beetles in the guide with this color or these markings. This is cropped and since I use a 2.1mp camera, didn't want to degrade the image any further. It was on the tip of a Dahlia petal.

How about a leaf beetle
maybe Diabrotica undecimpunctata - Spotted Cucumber Beetle, images in the guide here

Thats it!
Thanks so much, I didn't drill down far enough...satellite connection is like 14.4 dial up tonight. I'll add it to the guide to represent WV.
