thank you for the ID, Dr. Ascher

Tribe Nyssonini at any rate
The old genus Nysson has been splitted into several genera, including Synnevrus. As they are closely related, they are very difficult to tell apart. Maybe Mr. Yanega will find out to which genus this nice female belongs.

well, i wish i could have taken better pictures, but this one would not let me get anywhere close to her. at least i am sure i am looking in the right direction, thank you Richard.

These are the two eastern species. Neither have been definitely proven for the state but both are presumed. The several genera in the Nyssoninae can be separated by which wasps they are stealing from. Zanysson steals from Tachytes species.

The genus Synnevrus no longer appears on the world Sphecid list. So I am not sure what has happened to those species unless they are back in Nysson proper.

Synnevrus is now back in Nysson
see Nysson pdf in the Pulawski catalog for details

well if there are stealing from Tachytes species, this one had a buffet. consider it somewhat proven for the state, and thank you for the information Herschel.
