I don´t think this is in Aleocharinae, but in the subfamily Tachyporinae. They can retract their abdomen like this.

I've checked the underside picture correctly, and I think you are right. The epipleuron look to be margined (what show that it's a Tachyporinae) and very inflexed. With the color of the elytra, it just can be a Coproporus sp. I think. A picture from lateral view would be useful for be sure of the genus.
