The new Peterson Field Guide is great.
We would strongly recommend that. We also scroll through the images at the Moth Photographers Group now and then. It's easier than BugGuide because you can see one of every moth by simple scrolling. Here when you use the Browse tag to look around, you do a lot of clicking forward and backing back out - not very user friendly. Wish we had the MPG system here. And, as you say, many years of looking at bug photos! And here's our post!
