Actually it depends on the scorpion P.imperator is VERY docile and rarely stings. As for the pic I have seen those up in Canada.

they look simular but it would be Paruroctonus boreus that you saw in Canada.

You picked it up!!! I would never! ... although I would love to photograph one of these creatures. They don't live in the Northeast, however.

umm ya
it not something you should try, i get stung often enough:) usually it just hurts to different degrees depending on what got me, i dont play with the members of the Buthidae family though, they have the medicaly significant members
