Egg sac found on back of hosta leaf

Size: Diameter of a nickel
Found this in my flower bed. Closest egg sac I could find was brown widow. No spider seen. The ball had a spiky appearance to it.

Not brown widow, but possibly something in the same family (Theridiidae).
