Tiny AZ Beetle (?) - Vacusus confinis

Tiny AZ Beetle (?) - Vacusus confinis
Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, USA
July 9, 2013
Size: Approximately 1/8"
Found this tiny little critter in my house today. I thought it looked ant-like in shape overall with the three distinct segments, but the abdomen looks quite beetle-like (in my totally uninformed opinion), so I am not sure what to make of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Moved from ID Request.

Vascusus(?) confinis(??)
that's the first black anthicid that comes to mind from southern AZ.

Thanks! I looked up Anthicida
Thanks! I looked up Anthicidae, and that seems just right: "a family of beetles that resemble ants." Perfect!
