Apterona helix? - Apterona helicoidella

Apterona helix? - Apterona helicoidella
Helena, Lewsi and Clark County, Montana, USA
July 11, 2013
Lep larvae in a spiral case. Pest-control firm reports "lots of them" on the side of a house. Could this be Apterona?

Thanks,
C

Moved
Moved from Apterona.

Apterona helix is now considered a synonym of A. helicoidella, the introduced species I was referring to.

Moved from ID Request.
There is another introduced Apterona species in the Northwest, and I'm not sure how far its range has expanded.
