This is an early image of mine, but I've always wondered what species of caterpillar this is.

Forester
At least we caught it before the twenty year mark! I've got a lot of older photos I need to caption too.

This one is Psychomorpha epimenis, I believe, or if not then something very close to that, in the Forester group.

Thanks, Stephen. I do belive you're correct. It's funny, though, I've never seen the adult of this species, however, the Eight-spotted Forester is very common here, and I've never seen the larva for that one.
