Variegated Meadowhawk - Sympetrum corruptum - Female
Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
July 2, 2006
I think that the Dragonfly is around 2 1/2 inches long, but I'm just not sure. I was concentrating on getting close to it. It's definitely not as big as a Green Darner.

Moved
Moved from Dragonflies.

The species is Sympetrum corruptum
Variegated Meadowhawk. The gender is female.

Thank you
I had guessed this, but wanted confirmation. Thanks again.
