Tabanidae - Tabanus fulvulus - Female
Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina, USA
July 15, 2013
Size: about 20 mm
This has to be one of the most beautiful insects I have ever seen. The eyes are stunning! It got stuck in the trampoline net. Is it possible to tell from the photos if it is a male or a female?
