A Lynx? - Peucetia viridans - Female
Temple City, Los Angeles County, California, USA
Size: 1.25" with extended legs
Pictured in my yard on my spearmint plant grown in a large plastic pot with a hand-held camera (Olympus C740UZ). These spiders were in my yard for about four years, and neighbors to the East had a Chinese elm tree grown from a sapling during that time. They cut the tree down after four years and these spiders disappeared.
