Nice find! I hae never seen a live one, as they are restricted in Florida to bald cypress swamp habitat.
These guys are pretty important, as they are the major enzootic vector of EEE.

thats right
they keep EEE in the environment. Got this girl as a larva. As you can probably tell from the curl on the tip of the abdomen, she has freshly emerged.
