Size: 3"
Pictured in my yard on a tree it flew on from my trash-can lids, with two hand-held cameras (SONY DSC-H9 and Olympus SP-550UZ) in natural sunlight. These huge grasshoppers are always different and always appear in fully-grown sizes. I have never seen them in younger form in my yard. They almost always match one plant nearly perfectly in appearance.

Camera info isn't important here.
Most of us don't care what gear you're toting. Those who do would be likely to check your contributor page to find out. Why not put the info there instead of cluttering up all your posts?
