Cupes capitatus? - Cupes capitatus

Cupes capitatus? - Cupes capitatus
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
July 20, 2013
Size: 7mm
Found this struggling in a spider's web by my door today and rescued it from the nothing that was coming to get it - a pointless way to go. It looked like something new-to-me, and that turned out to be true. I recognize its form from a previous Reticulated Beetle I've found on my door, but the color is different - that got me to the right place in the guide, and Cupes capitatus seems to fit the bill. Did I get it right?
