Unknown Dragonfly - Libellula vibrans
Bucktoe Creek Nature Preserve, Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 21, 2013
Size: Large, maybe 3-4 inches
We were walking along a stream, with an unmowed field on the other side of us. It was around 10 am. It flew around for a bit, then landed on a branch of a tree, and just stayed there. It looked light blue in color.

Great blue skimmer
a male, I believe. It's tough to tell from such badly overexposed pictures
