Red legged Brown docile spider - Callobius

Red legged Brown docile spider - Callobius
Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
July 23, 2013
I found this pretty thing crossing my path in my backyard. I have a large amount of dry leaf cover (giant redwood) it was around 7PM. I shooed it into a better picture spot and it seemed quite docile. No rearing back or scampering for cover.

I've replaced the original image with a cropped version of one of your better images.

looks like it might be a Callobius severus:

Callobius
I think we can be pretty sure it's a Callobius. There are a bunch of species in WA though.

...
Yeah, just a guess. I always think C. severus when they're particularly red. Edit: It doesn't look quite as red in some of the images as I initially thought now that I'm looking again.

...
Same, in my area the really red ones are usually C. severus. The only other species I've had personal experience with is C. pictus though. Just between those two species, the pattern also seems to be reliable when it's strong.
