Caterpillar ID - Elaphria versicolor

Caterpillar ID - Elaphria versicolor
Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 4, 2013
Found on the side of my house not particularly close to any foodplant. It refused most leaves I gave it, though it did eat birch leaves and turtle food in a pinch. I don't have any birch trees in my yard though.

Moved from ID Request.

Looks like one of the Midgets
in the genus Elaphria.

One of the moth specialists should be able to tell you which one.

Thanks!
I looked around in Noctuidae for hours and eventually gave up and forgot about this caterpillar. Looks like maybe E. versicolor, then.
