Found inside outdoor candle in rainwater on the rear deck of a home

Normally, I'd have to recommend frassing an image like this. But on this one you can actually make out the distinguishing characteristic - spots between the elytra bands, AND you can count the ridge on the hind tibia and tarsi. So here we have as near certain a determination as you can usually get in this family. Go figure.
