Cross Spider (Garden Spider) - Araneus diadematus

Cross Spider (Garden Spider) - Araneus diadematus
Windsor, Ontario, Ontario, Canada
August 11, 2005
Size: 1 1/4 inch
This guy is living on the planter/pot of my wife's Fuschia, hanging from our front porch. When I took the garbage out early this morning, he had a HUGE web almost blocking the porch doorway.

Photo shot with a Canon EOS20D and Sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro.

Lens Error
I think you were using a 150mm f/2.8. 1500mm seems king of big. I wouldn't have bothered except that I prefer to be told about my own goof ups of which there are plenty.

Thanks
Thanks Steve, I appreciate the correction, which I have applied.
