Invasion of the ... wheel bugs?

Anyone else notice a skyrocket in the population of these creatures? They are absolutely everywhere in my yard, on almost every plant. I am definitely not happy to have them because they eat just about every other insect I am interested in seeing.

Opposite Situation in NE NC ...
I am experiencing just the opposite (on my property, anyway) - we have had a decline in the number of Arilus cristatus seen on our property this year, but we have experienced a dramatic rise in the numbers of Lyssomanes viridis, Argiope aurantia, and Zelus sp. I am not sure if the two are related, but we did notice a decrease in the number of A. cristatus egg masses found on our property this year.
