Identification
Very round faces. Eyes curve and meld into clypeus. Dieunomia abdomen is lined with tufts of hair that wrap to the top of the face. T1 has a V shape. (2)
Range
NA (Canada to Costa Rica: map); 2 spp. are transcontinental, one is widespread in the inner states (doesn't reach either seaboard), the rest are more or less southwestern; only D. heteropoda reaches Canada (MB)(1)
