Size: ~ 6 inches
I initially found this mantis clinging to my kitchen window screen but moved it to a more photogenic location nearby for this shot. It was interesting watching this mantis mimic a stick bobbing in the wind as it moved through the bush.

Male
Neat, a male--note the long wings and narrow abdomen. Males fly, females are basically flightless, though they can spread their tiny wings and flutter/glide.
