I think it's
A. procera. Huge. But photo is dark -- can't see silver marks on thorax.

Ever since last Fall (LIBS in
Ever since last Fall (LIBS in Southold 9/12), I have been diligently looking for the silver marks. I don't think this one had them in life, although it was very active and there was a lot going on on that plant. There was at least another Copper and a Pearl Crescent on there.

photos I took of what I think is A. procera when we visited Edgewood. Impressive insect.
