Range expansion?

Note current range description for this species in BugGuide: "North Carolina to Florida, west to Texas. (1). BugGuide also has several images from Virginia and Colorado." Bradley states, "this species is found in the southeastern states."

It does seem this species range has expanded . . .

There are now records for this species as far north as southern NJ (Cape May Co.).
