Sociable Renia - Renia factiosalis - male

Sociable Renia - Renia factiosalis - Male
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
August 1, 2013
I thought the antenna would help me determine the genus and possibly species, but I couldn't find anything that looked like this one. Probably didn't search in the right place.

Did you
look in Herminiinae? (I think some of them have these) If I remember I'll check later.

Litter moth
That's what I thought it might be -- a Litter moth in Herminiinae but I didn't come across any that had this particular kind of antenna. I may have missed it, however.

08/05/13 - Some moths in the genus Renia have similar antennae.
