Moved from Earwigs.

The lobed 2nd tarsal segment confirms it as Forficulidae. Doru would have yellow on the tegmina and Setocordax would have black hairs or bristles all over it. That leaves Forficula. Besides, the way the forceps almost meet at the base is very characteristic of Forficula. There being only the one species listed for North America, I'm pretty sure it's Forficula auricularia

Awesome shot (as usual), this may be Forficula auricularia. "Peterson's Field Guide to Insects" (1), p.98-99 notes the lobed 2nd tarsal segment. And, it goes onto say that the antennea are 12-15 segmented – which you may be able to get a correct count from the original photo. It sure looks close...
