I don't remember whose arm I photographed this off. I don't think it was my arm...as I've got coarser hair :-)

You may have photographed the same individual on my arm. I was in a dry creek bed on the south side of the canyon road.

Aha...mystery solved! :-)
That makes sense Loren...I carefully compared the fine details of the "irroration" (fancy-speak for the speckled spots) of the wings on your photo and mine, and they are virtually identical. So if it wasn't already clear, they're the same individual photographed on your arm.

From the ID comments under my post, guess it makes sense to move this to the "irroratus or cintalpa" node of the guide.
