Here's another one of those Cone-Headed katydids. It was dying outside my house. I guess someone must have sprayed some nasty insecticide out there.

Belocephalus Coneheads. Nasty insecticides ... so destructive to the natural environment! :-(

Palmetto Conehead
This is a Palmetto Conehead (Belocephalus sabalis). Identifiable by the range, and the shape of the cone ( very straight, not curved at the end). It is too bad that it was killed.
