Noctuid ? - Actebia fennica

Noctuid ? - Actebia fennica
Sitka County, Alaska, USA
August 9, 2013
Seems like it's probably a Noctuid, but it doesn't look like one I've seen before. I've been looking through the Moth Photographer's group plates, but haven't found a good match yet.
Attracted to UV light. squares 5mm.

Moved from Moths.

Look at Diarsia
and possibly D. rosaria. Was it more reddish brown than the image shows? This is a very common and variable species here. I usually make a quick field ID on the open reniform spot (I think crab claw like) and the facial mask border (terminology ?). Size seems about right. I am interested in the Alaskan moths you find for my belief that many species probably exchanged between Asia and NA across Beringa during the interglacial periods and especially the last one. If interested I have posted some thoughts with one group of moths here:

Good Luck

Looks Like 10924 - Actebia fennica
worn specimen. (no rsvp, thanks)

Shape looks better for Actebia .. I have not seen one.
missed by three digits .... and need to keep an eye out for this one.
