LARGE fly - Muscidae? - Cuterebra

LARGE fly - Muscidae? - Cuterebra
Eugene, Willamette valley, Lane County, Oregon, USA
October 8, 2006
Size: 18-19mm
I found this dead under our cucumber plant in the garden. The wing venation and general shape looks like some kind of Muscid, but I couldn't get any farther than that. There are no visible mouth parts (see ventral view), and the antennae are tiny (barely visible in all views), with maybe an arista.
