Weevil sp - Pheloconus hispidus

Weevil sp - Pheloconus hispidus
Rockvale, Rutherford County, Tennessee, USA
August 3, 2013
Drawn to black light.

thanks again, Bob; that was my first thought, too

nice one; any other shots? challenging angle...
must be something in the Conotrachelini

Moved from ID Request.

Not that are helpful

ok; will show it around as is
for the future, try hard to get a straight dorsal shot, all-important for beetle identification: even a blurry one might turn out to be very helpful; for weevils, a good profile shot is usually a big plus [rarely so for other beetles]

Ok
Thank you so much for the feedback!

Thank you so much for the nice bug!
keep them coming; the tinier, the better

Pheleconus hispidus
