Wheelbug on the underside of Purple Coneflower in July - Arilus cristatus

These slow moving creatures seem to capture enough prey to survive around here. When looking for insects that may be hiding, I like to look on the underside of leaves and flowers like Purple Coneflower and milkweed. I was glad to find this one having dinner.
